Answer: We believe that it is the main role of the government to make the country digitalized. The present government of Bangladesh, after coming into power has declared a major project/ scheme named Vision 2021. The main aim of this declaration is to make the country digitalized by the year 2021.
The government has developed some educational web sites where all information and resources regarding education, books, and syllabus and digital contents to use in classes are available. Please click the following link to see the web of ICT in Education in Bangladesh.
We believe that without the initiative of the government, it is not possible to make digital generation because the task is huge and expensive and obviously administrative decision is required to spent money, implementing in the educational institutions, involving teachers etc. It is the government that can go a long way to make the country digitalized and make it citizen global citizen.

Answer:
Our government let many schools work with computers, so learn we how to search things on the internet. They teach us those things because we need it in the future. Everything is coming on the internet, newspapers radio, books and blackboards everything is modern. The youngest people they make more contact through the internet, not any more with face to face, more like twitter, msn, facebook, hyves, ping, Whatsapp.
About our school:
Our school has many digital things hanging in the school. Grid plates is one of those things. We have in the most locals digital school boards. Not every teacher can handle this, so if they can’t handle this there is a course. We also have special computer locals, that’s sometime’s really nice, but some of those locals are small so our classes do not fit entirely in. But we have also a library with computers in it. So if our local is full, reminds the teacher who can go to the library.

Answer from DG5
The government gives us a maximum for laptops and computers to work with at school. The school decides which materials the school eventually uses. The government doesn’t decide which material the school uses, but only handles the finances.
Answer from DG6
Funding towards schools to have the appropriate teaching technological aids are very important we think. From a young age learners should be able to be visible to technological teaching aids, this will grow a apatite for them to use technological aids in their adult life at work and at home. This is why it is very important for the government to implement technological aids to digitize and make a digital generation. In future this will enable the country to progress from a maybe third world to a 1st World country. This will have a lot of positive things for the country and help better the financial status of the country and status against other countries in the world. Not only will this be financially better, but the country will allow better policing, health care and education to the nation of the country.
Answer from DG7
The government plays a big role in developing a country and making it digital. We as a nation should question whether the government fulfills its role to make our country digital. Not only is it for the better of the country, but it has a lot of other positive things for a country, like improving the police infrastructure, educational infrastructure, health care infrastructure and political infrastructure. All of this enables us as a country to stand out. This is very expensive and takes a while, so the planning by the government should be done well and in advance so that it will reach its goals and make the country digital. Money should be made available during the budgeting process and tax payers would be happy that the money that they pay for tax will be going to something more important. It will be for the future of the country and have a lot of aspects for the children and adults of the future.

The government has a big role to play when it comes to digitizing a country. Fist of all, the Government of Ghana (GOG) published an ICT for an Accelerated Development Policy that laid out a clear cut National ICT Policy. GOG also set a committee known as, “The National ICT Policy and Plan Development Committee” to see to the ICT-drive in the country. There is an institution (Ghana-India Kofi Annan ICT centre for Excellence ) that is Ghana’s first advanced information Technology centre of excellence. The Ghanaian government in collaboration with a private company known as the rlg communications has launched a project under the theme “ICT as a tool for development at the basic level education. The initiative seeks to equip and empower basic schoolteachers and pupils with modern ICT equipment and skills to enhance their knowledge and capability in the use of modern technology. The “One Laptop Per Child” project is to enable each child in the Basic Schools have access to a laptop. The government is keen on improving the teaching and learning of ICT to bridge the gap of the country to the world. This project is yet to reach our school and we hope it does get there soon.

"What is the role of your government to make the country digitalised and making a digital generation?"
Our government declares that making Poland digitalized is one of the priorities. They focus on changes in public administration, common access to the Internet and of course education.
In November 2011 the President of Poland nominated our first Minister of Administration and Digitalisation.
Public Administration
In Poland we have quite high level of bureaucracy. Most of the businesses and formalities must be dealt with in public administration offices, however since 2001 there an Act on the electronic signature which makes it possible (at least in theory) to settle any official or formal matters over the Internet.
Former president Aleksander Kwasniewski using his e-signature for the first time:

Since 2009 everybody can submit their tax declaration over the Internet and every year there is more people who choose this way.
Common access to the Internet
The government coordinates and monitors that the level of charges for the Internet access is not too high. Moreover, every person can use the Internet for free in most public libraries. Since 2011 it is also possible to get free access to the wireless Internet (BDA) after fulfilling certain conditions (which include paying some deposit fee).
Education
The Polish government has made the following declarations about digitalisation in the Polish schools:
- a computer laboratory in every school (in years: 2005 – 2008, 19 954 computer labs received altogether 334 453 computers)

- free/cheap internet access for schools
- a notebook instead of paper books for every pupil

This program is being prepared to start in 2013. So far, there are only few schools testing the idea. Here is a video from one of those schools - a primary school in Przykłęków.

QUESTION
What is the role of your government to make the country digitalized and making a digital generation?
ANSWER
Our government has been promoting digitalization for a long time. The main aim on the state level is to provide Internet connections to all the citizens. This has been quite successful so far yet not all Slovenians have access to the Internet - in some very distant areas it is difficult or impossible to reach connection or signal. Otherwise everything is digitalized. We cannot imagine banks, post offices, shops, tourist agencies, hospitals, schools etc. without computers and other digital devices.
Our generation is well-provided by digital devices because schools are well equipped with them. There are computers in all the classrooms, there are many smart boards. Our teachers are being supported by the government for educating themselves in the field of digitalization (they write down our grades and some other data into evaluation books, have meetings etc.). they are so called "e-competent" teachers. They also have their own web pages and we can communicate with them by e-mails. There are useful exercises, games, films and songs on our school's English page, we also get homework. If teachers explain certain themes it is easy for them and also for us if they can show us images, graphs, videos, play music etc. with the help of interactive board - at the very moment when some kind of illustration is required.
