Question: Digital Generations takes the development of a Country to the next level. What types of new and exciting jobs do you think will be created for our current digital generation when they are adults?
Answer: we think that in the future there are much more people working with computer and there will be more job’s available where computers are important.
Not only there will be more job’s for computer programming but there will a grow in job’s with social media.
This job’s will include making a social media and do much things on the computer. For example by the voice of Holland people are checking twitter and say it to the participants.
That is one example for more jobs. But you can think to on learn at home and with lessons you see your teachers thru the webcam. It happen in Australia but it can be used in the rest of the world. It happen in Australia because one house have a very big land. Than the students needs to travel far to school and that is not handy. The webcam teacher is a job that is about ten year a very normal job. Maybe in the future you do everything on the computer, working, teaching, and shopping.
We think that in the future will be more people need to work on social media programs. Twitter, Facebook, Hyves etc. we mean: update the program every week. Warning people with bad languages.
We think that people in the future will get a lot fatter than normal.
That is caused by the modernisation off their job, they will do more behind there desk and that’s caused by the modernisation.
So we think that every thing is going to chance en more thin will be compatible with a computer or mobile devise and the jobs of people are going to get easier by computerization.
Also there will be more job around and about the digital generation.

Jobs with computers:
We believe that in the future everything will be automatic. Therefore, we think we won’t have a lot of jobs any more.
For example: shop assistants won’t be needed anymore because in the shop people will scan their purchases by themselves and pay for them automatically.
In the future technical jobs will be more important. For example:
-computer Technician
-computer animator
-automation Engineer
-security system designer
For example: computer animators are going to make more games for children in which they will be able to have some physical exercise.
That means that the Technical University in Delft in the future the most important University will be in the Netherlands.
Of course in the future we will be need teachers because we think that education won’t be automatic. You can’t learn of a robot.
So that means that some jobs can’t be change even in the future. So for the ones who aren’t technical, they can always become a teacher or advisor.

We hope that the digital generation will be able to create a lot of new exciting gadgets in the future.
Vehicles who drive themselves would be something really cool.
But when you have to be realistic - we think that machinery will replace a lot of people's jobs in the future. In Holland we have supermarkets where you scan items yourself, and pay for them at a special counter without a cashier. Sometimes this can be a good thing but sometimes this can cause a lot of people to lose their jobs.
We also think that there will be a lot of new jobs in the creative field such as designing app's for new digital devices.

Digital generations has the power to develop the country and take it to the next level. Currently in South Africa we have multiple digital types of jobs but we are still lacking a lot. If we look at China for instance they are more digitally developed than South Africa. This enables them to develop more products and ideas that betters their country and economy. The inventor will invent a product and the product will be sold to the exporting countries.

Digital Generations takes the development of a Country to the next level. What types of new and exciting jobs do you think will be created for our current digital generation when they are adults?"
We believe, in Digital Generations robots will take over most of the work, but humans will still be needed.
Here are some suggestions for new work:
-Teleport specialist
We think the teleport will be a very complicated machine, so it will need a kind of a mechanic. A teleport operator will be able to teleport us to any place where we might like to get to, and will also be able to repair broken units.

-Robot inspector
There will be two jobs: controlling a warrior robot, like in the movie "Real Steel" and controlling work of ‘ordinary’ robots, for example, cleaning robots and robot builders.

-Dream-game tester and Dream-game developer
Those people will play games while asleep, and scientists will be monitoring if everything is OK. In the Dream-game you will be able to do everything you like!
- Mortality doctor
In the future mortality will only be a disease. Doctors will treat mortality with a special medicine right after children have become adults, or later.

QUESTION
Digital Generation takes the development of a Country to the next level. What types of new and exciting jobs do you think will be created for our current digital generation when they are adults?
ANSWER
New jobs in digital world could involve creating robots that could carry out manual work instead of us. New jobs could also involve creating digital cars, houses, pens, school notebooks. Life would be much easier. But on the other hand, people would not be able to do anything by themselves which would be a bad point of everything. It is already happening today: many people are addicted to computers and the internet, they cannot do everyday tasks, they cannot think with their own brain …
We should use digital devices for carrying out more projects, such as our GTP project is, for games improving our brain, thinking, to make us improve mentally and in different skills. We could also create many interesting web-sites and learn a lot of new interesting things. In that way education would be more interesting for teachers and for us.
We think that teachers would have to change their way of teaching, too. They would teach with the help of computers and interactive boards. Learning would be more interesting, students would revise with the help of games, different websites etc.
But as every good point brings its bad point – we would probably miss our teachers' speaking, enthusiasm, personal communication and relationship between teachers and students. And we would probably lose our writing / handwriting skills.
Which jobs will be the most important for digital generation in future?
These will be all the jobs in the field of computers, inventors and developers of new digital devices, computer programmers, »digital« teachers teaching through the Internet, distance doctors, accountants, consultants, jobs associated to different addictions (from the Internet, computer games, living in virtual world …), experts analysing social networks, looking for information about people (e. g. those who apply for new jobs), digital nannies, web journalists, jobs associated with teleportation, robotics, medicine, maintaing computers, computer systems, preventingintrusionsinto computer s, checking and detecting inappropriate contents, telecommunications … All jobs will be upgraded.

And what are some good and some bad points of being involved in social networks, according to our students?
Good points: faster access to the information you need, chatting with friends, meeting new friends and communication with people from other places and countries, access to enumerous web links, having fun, being up-to-date, viewing photos, improving English, information for school, reading comments …
Bad points: addiction, misuse of photos, personal data and information, people pretend they are someone else, waste of time in many cases – you could make better use of your time, you forget about what is really important, people become less sociable, teenagers are exposed to innappropriate contents, you meet strangers, human trafficking, you cannot erase your date and activities, hacking in one's privacy, it is very bad for the eyes …
