Answer: Modern world is a blessing of science and technology.The inventions that have changed the world like storm are computer, internet and mobile phone. These three inventions have brought about the revolution in the field of ICT and the idea of digital generation brings in to being. After the creation of the world, people have been inventing new things and contributing to the world to its development. The strive of many people continues for generation after generation and for this reason we are living in the world where we are getting all facilities for our peaceful, and pleasant living.Wonderful inventions have been made that have enriched the world. There are negative and positive inventions. The negative inventions have negative effects and on the other hand positive inventions have positive effect. The inventions that help human being to develop and go forward are blessings for us. These inventions are important for us. We are now enjoying the blessings of many inventions done by our ancestors. We gratefully remember the greatest inventors like Newton, Einstein, Gallilio and other great personalities for making our world easy and comfortable for us.

Answer: The inventions that have changed the world like storm are COMPUTER, INTERNET and TELEPHONE/ MOBILE PHONE. These three inventions have brought about the revolution in the field of ICT and the idea of digital generation brings in to being.

The strive of many people continues for generation after generation and for this reason we are living in the world where we are getting all facilities for our peaceful, and pleasant living.

What makes an invention important?
It helps to make your life easier like: internet helps you to find thing without books or other sources, it helps you to communicate with people without using a phone or sending cards. Inventions are also important to help with making and doing new things like the newspaper after that came the television, it has the same purpose but you do not need to buy a newspaper anymore new you can just turn on the television and watch the news or other things you are interested in. It is important because it sometimes helps you to do thins you couldn’t do before like an wheelchair helps you when you can not walk, or the computer also helps because you do not have to write a postcard with a pen because at the computer you can type al you want, and if you can not send it by internet you can print it out and send it up.
An invention must be useful for a long time, not that you buy it today and tomorrow it isn’t useful anymore. It is also important that it makes you comfortable, if you buy some thing you expect that it is comfortable to wear, to use, to sit in , to work with or whatever you do with it. An invention is important because it is a part of what there will be in the future.
It is important that you can use the invention the way it is meant to, if you make a mobile phone it is the meaning that you can wear it with you and not that is so big or heavy that you can not wear it with you because it doesn’t fit in your pocket or bag or wherever you put it.

The most important inventions of the last years are the inventions of Apple®.
The iPod is so innovative because its lightweight; you can even go jogging with the iPod.
The iPod touch makes it more modern. The I phone is also modern,
because you can download applications from the app-store, such as a GPS,
or a travelplanner that gives you an up to date overview of the traffic situations.
And ofcourse, you have directly access to your e-mail, facebook or twitter account!
The I pad is smaller than a computer but it can do the same things, so it is easy to carry.

An invention is important if it is innovative. In other words, if it can provide us with new services.
It must have a new aspect in comparison with other/previous inventions.

1. The Internet
We think the internet is one of the best digital inventions, because you can find everything there: music, information and pictures. You can also play games and follow the latest news. Internet was invented in 1969 and was prepared by University Networks.
The internet is a network of computer networks. With the internet you can be in touch with everybody in the world through social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
2. Cell Phones
The invention of the mobile phone has become a success because you can call with anyone from everywhere. Mobile phones were later improved by adding the possibility to send text messages. It is also a success because you can listen to music, take pictures, use the internet and with some even chat (like the BlackBerry). It’s a computer, MP3, camera and phone all in one.
3. 'Cloud'
Cloud is a new way of using your files from your computer. You can call them anywhere, wherever you are, and consult for example on your smartphone or tablet. Your files 'soar' through the air. An example of these are your photos or music. You don’t need to download them on each device separately. With Cloud you have access to files anywhere. It is expected, that in the future Cloud will be an important part of the new works. Wherever you are, you can work on the files of your work, without having to download them. This ease of digitization will only increase in coming years.

The MacBook is a brand of Macintosh notebook computers manufactured by Apple Inc. from 2006 to 2011. It replaced the iBook series and 12-inch PowerBook series of notebooks as a part of the Apple–Intel transition. Positioned as the low end of the MacBook family, the Apple MacBook was aimed at the consumer and education markets. It was the best-selling Macintosh in history, and according to the sales-research organization NPD Group in October 2008, the mid-range model of the MacBook was the single best-selling laptop of any brand in U.S. retail stores for the preceding five months.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-based tablet computer produced by Samsung introduced on 2 September 2010 at the IFA in Berlin.
The Galaxy Tab has a 7-inch (180 mm) TFT-LCD touchscreen, Wi-Fi capability, a 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 Samsung Exynos 3110 (code-named "Hummingbird") processor, the Swype input system, a 3.2 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera for video calls. It runs the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, and supports telephone functionality as speaker phone, via provided wired ear piece or Bluetooth earpieces (except models sold in the US). It can download videoconferencing apps such as Tango as alternative to telephone functionality.

The top two inventions are the cellphone and the laptop.
Cellular phones are very cool. They are known to us in our generation but they are not for the previous generation like my grandmother because they did not even have it when they grew up. I just think to myself how weird it must have been not for them to have has a cellphone. They had to write letters to their friends or they had to phone them with a land line telephone if they wanted to speak to their family or friends.

In addition to telephony, modern mobile phones also support a wide variety of other services such as text messaging, MMS, email, Internet access, short-range wireless communications (infrared, Bluetooth), business applications, gaming and photography. Mobile phones that offer these and more general computing capabilities are referred to as smartphones.
The laptop is also a very cool invention. Previously only PC's was available with Windows DOS and that was really not cool. There was not a lot of functionality and the PC's was not easy to move around and carry around. Today we have laptops and they are easy to move around and they are getting better and better each day. Their size are getting smaller while their speed and productivity is also getting bigger and better.

Portable computers, originally monochrome CRT-based and developed into the modern laptops, were originally considered to be a small niche market, mostly for specialized field applications such as the military, accountants and sales representatives. As portable computers became smaller, lighter, cheaper, more powerful and as screens became larger and of better quality, laptops became very widely used for all sorts of purposes, by all sorts of people.

An invention is important depending on its popularity and how beneficial it is. The top 3 invention of digital generation are Digital or High Definition Television, Mobile phones, and computers. High Definition Television can be used to reach large segments of the society. Through High Definition TV we can improve knowledge of our students and educated people. We can present on TV educational programmes of different categories. Mobile phones or smartphones are also another top invention that has revolutionized the world. Mobile phones can be used to listen to radio programs, news, and watch TV programs, they can be used to send emails and browse the Internet among others. Last but not the least is Computers. Computers can be used as word processor, use as Television, play music and games. Computers can also be used to send emails, play music, watch movies and save information

DIGITAL CAMERA:
- Records images in a digital form on a removable memory card
- The data is stored in the camera memory card, but the camera has also a built-in internal flash memory.
- The memory card can store a lot of photos and unwanted images can also be erased.
- Pictures taken with the digital camera can be edited after in the computer and then printed in any number of copies.

fully automatic).
- The majority of contemporary cameras can record video clips with sound as well as take photographs.
DIGITAL TV:
- It can either have a built-in digital tuner (HD TV) or use an external tuner (HD). It ensures the quality of image and sound does not depend on the strength of the signal.
- Digital television offers a High Definition picture against Low Definition transmitted in the traditional television.
- With this technology you can enjoy the excellent quality of picture and sound at your own home.
- In the digital TV the picture can be displayed on a flat panel, liquid crystal display (LCD) or plasma screens.

For example, innovations in medicine result in better diagnosing of illnesses and faster + more effective treatment. The inventions in science and technology help us understand the world and science better.

We think that a phone, a computer and a television are the top three inventions in digital generation.
An invention becomes important when it is widely used, if a lot of people buy it, if it helps people, if it makes life easier. Inventions can change the world, if they are good for nature, people and animals.
